We are a proud member of Chemical Recycling Europe, which was established in 2019 to promote the benefits and opportunities for chemical recycling of plastics in the transition towards a more sustainable and circular economy in Europe.
POLYOLEFIN CIRCULAR ECONOMY PLATFORM
We have joined the Polyolefin Circular Economy Platform (PCEP) to advance the circular economy for plastics. PCEP is a forum that brings together the plastics value-chain to exchange ideas, showcase projects and work together to maximise innovation and value. PCEP is committed to transitioning from a linear to a circular economy based on three principles: designing out waste; keeping products and materials in use; and recycling into high-quality new raw materials.
SUSTAINABLE PACKAGING COALITION
We have joined as members of the Sustainable Packaging Coalition, a leading membership organisation supporting sustainable packaging solutions for the entire value-chain. Plastic Energy is a contributor to the Multi-Material Flexible Packaging Recovery Collaborative, to create a circular economy for flexibles and packaging.

Collaborations
UK PLASTIC PACT
Plastic Energy has joined WRAP’s UK Plastics Pact. It is a collaborative initiative aimed at creating a circular economy for plastics and brings together businesses from across the entire plastics value chain with UK governments and NGOs to tackle the problem of plastic waste.
WASTE FREE OCEANS
Plastic Energy is a Platinum Partner of Waste Free Oceans, a foundation who partner with recyclers, converters and brands to make optimal use of available resources and raise awareness on the issue of ocean plastic.
BRITISH SPANISH SOCIETY
Carlos Monreal, Plastic Energy Founder and Chief Executive Officer, presented the British Spanish Society Engineering Scholarship Award 2018 to Javier Díaz Branas. Plastic Energy are a principal supporter of the organization, which has awarded Scholarships and Bursaries to more than 50 post-graduate students.
OCEAN PLASTICS CHARTER
Plastic Energy has signed the Ocean Plastics Charter and committed to the advancement of its objectives along with many governments, businesses and organisations.

Plastic Energy is a patron of The Cotec Foundation. This is a private non-profit organization whose mission is to promote innovation as a driving force for economic and social development.
ON WINGS OF WASTE
Plastic Energy supplied the fuel that enabled pilot Jeremy Rowsell to make his historic flight in a light aircraft from Sydney to Melbourne using conventional fuel blended with 10 per cent fuel manufactured from plastic waste.
BRITCHAM INDONESIA
Plastic Energy has joined the British Chamber of Commerce in Indonesia with the ambition of developing business in the area.
THE KINGDOM BGBJ
Plastic Energy has previously worked with the Kingdom BGBJ. The organisation is working to provide education and hope to young people living in the biggest landfill in South East Asia.
